Convert JFIF to JPG without losing quality
A .jfif file is a JPEG saved with a different extension. Windows, Edge, and some chat apps save photos as .jfif. Upload forms that only accept .jpg then reject the file, even though the picture is already a JPEG.
This tool copies the same bytes into a .jpg file. It does not decode or re-compress the photo, so the picture stays identical.
How to convert JFIF to JPG
- Add one or more .jfif files.
- Click Convert.
- Download each .jpg, or use Download ZIP for the whole batch.
When you need this
- A job or visa form says “JPG only” and your file ends in .jfif.
- Windows Photos saved a download as .jfif.
- You have a folder of .jfif images and want them all renamed at once.
You can also right-click one file and rename the extension. This page is faster when you have many files. Related: WebP to JPG, AVIF to JPG, compress a JPG to 100KB.
