Convert HEIC to PNG
HEIC is the photo format on modern iPhones. PNG is a lossless format that design tools and some print workflows prefer. Use this page when you want a PNG, not a JPG. If you only need the photo to open on Windows or in email, HEIC to JPG makes a smaller file.
How to convert HEIC to PNG
- Add the .heic or .heif photos.
- Click Convert. PNG output does not use a JPEG quality slider.
- Download each PNG or a ZIP of the batch.
PNG files are usually larger than the original HEIC. That is normal. Camera location data is not copied into the new PNG. Read HEIC vs JPG if you are choosing a format, or remove EXIF from a JPG you already have.
