Convert AVIF to JPG online
AVIF is a newer photo format used by many websites because the files are smaller. When you save that image, you get a .avif file. Windows Photo Viewer, some email apps, and upload forms still cannot open it. Converting to JPG fixes that.
Use a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. The page uses the browser’s own AVIF decoder, then saves a JPG at the quality you choose. Transparent areas become white because JPG has no transparency. If you need to keep a transparent background, convert to PNG with another editor, or use PNG to WebP for web graphics.
How to convert AVIF to JPG
- Drop the .avif files into the box.
- Pick High, Normal, or Smaller file.
- Click Convert and download the JPG or a ZIP.
